Welcome to my personal development report for January 2017! This has been a crazy month for me as I have been trying to split my time between developing this blog as well as developing a new method. This has left me with little to no free time and has had a knock on effect on my reading meaning I have only been able to complete three books this month.
Data collected by the free tool Rescue Time, click here to read my post on how I used the tool to increase my productivity by over 30%!
As you can see from the screenshot above, I managed to log over 214 hours of time in the tool for the month of January 2017 with 81 percent of the time being productive. I expected my productivity to fall massively when I returned to work after the Christmas Leave period but thankfully I have managed to stay relatively productive.
I think this is largely due to having so many things on my to-do list such as develop this blog as well as develop a new income method as soon as possible!
Crushing The To Do List
Although not really something I track or care about as I see them as vanity metrics I grew my todoist karma by 1796 and my completed tasks by 1509. I’m not sure how this compares to the growth of past months as I have never tracked it prior to these posts so have no idea if this is high, average or low compared to normal.
Ordinarily, I use todoist as more of a daily to-do list while managing my projects in Trello, as the majority of my test projects are now into their Trello management stage I doubt I will grow my todoist karma or completed tasks as much for February.
As I have already touched on, I haven’t had as much free time as I would have liked to spend reading in January but I did still manage to add some books to my reading list.
